From an engineering perspective, it's surprising how many companies overlook the importance of avoiding sharp edges with their bungee systems, but not here. The components featuring bungee connections are all rounded and made of durable metal, suggesting they'll stand the test of time. Overall, the quality is exceptional, and the fact that everything fits neatly into the carry case, with extra-wide feet adapters included, is a fantastic bonus.

Fairly straightforward assembly, takes a little getting used to for putting away but I am grateful the carry bag fits everything rather easily. SO, I'm 6'4" and 285 pounds - all muscle! Ha ok well, I should weight around 240# so my trainer says. Thus I have some work. However, at this weight I have crushed plastic folding chairs rated at 350 pounds (made in china). This chair is rated for 150 KG or 330 pounds and I sat in it and it held me but was wobbly. And I certainly did not want to lean back or sit in it quick. For guys my size, I'd go with a larger chair but this is fine for smaller people 200 pounds or less and 6' or smaller.

Still, I managed to get the chair back into the little carry bag it comes in (keep the velcro, it makes a difference) and fully zipped without tugging or pulling to close the bag.The material is very lightweight and great for backpacking and primitive camping where keeping the load light is important. The material that makes up the seat is thin nylon with 2 large cut outs of mesh. Less material means less weight! Such a great idea! Also, the mesh at the side allows air to move freely, keeping the uncomfortable back sweat to a minimum.The chair sits low to the ground which offers stability and additional stability can be achieved by using the risers for each leg that evenly distributes the weight of the chair leg (you're less likely to sink into soft ground or sand with the risers).As mentioned, this is a lightweight chair so the material is thin; however, each corner is reinforced with heavier material and the chair uses tensile to create a seat with very little sag. There is a pocket on each side for various items and the design is a camouflage print in grey tones.The carry bag has several loops sewn into the strap that can be used to carry additional gear with a carabiner or just a spot to stuff your bandana. This chair's design is well thought out.
