The touch and feel of this 'sleeping' bag is amazing--feels so nice! It is a relatively thin bag, definitely a summer sleeping bag, for no colder than about 55-60F degrees.
This bag is equipped with 2 zippers, which allows you to open the bottom of the bag to give your feet some ventilation, while keeping the side zipped.
Unzipped all the way, and this becomes a wonderful quilt! Personally, I'm starting to make the shift from sleeping bags to quilts--I don't like being constricted inside a sleeping bag. Almost all sleeping bags unzip all the way too, so it's nothing special, but unzipped, this is a very nice quilt.
My daughter unzipped the foot/bottom area and snuggled nicely with the sides zipped up. She wore it like a tube and was nice and cozy enough to even walk around and sit in a camp chair.
This particular piece of kit is becoming a favorite, it packs very small, highly compressible and feels so satisfyingly soft. I love it.
I was actually pretty surprised to see how big this sleeping bag really was, because it has a really good length to it, which I can very much appreciate, and has a good width to it too, which ensures it stays around you very nicely and snugly. Now, when it comes to the design, I will say it almost feels a little bit like having a soft sort of nylon plastic on you that actually feels really comfortable, but having this material on the inside, I'm not sure how I personally would hold up to it in hotter weathers, just because I already sweat when I sleep. So I'll have to try that out at those times, but regardless of fact, it does have a great design to it to where it is extremely lightweight, as they say it is, while also allowing you to keep in your because of that nylon factor on the inside as well. This actually surprised me with its weight and size yet, the simplicity of how it was designed, but I can very much appreciate it. Thank you much 💐...
