BULIN Camping Cookware C11N

I picked this up because I'm on a push to decrease the size and weight of my camping gear and do more backpack camping, rather than car camping where I take half the house with me. I already picked up a small burner, but wanted a full kit that included everything I needed. This is perfect...almost.As you can see in the pictures, it comes prepacked in a mesh bag. It includes a deep(ish) pot, skillet, folding cutlery, a carabiner to hang it off your backpack, a stand for your butane/propane tank, the burner with a case, and even a scrubby pad to wash everything with after use.The Good:I really like the folding cutlery. It feels good in the hand and includes a spoon, a fork, and a knife. I am not a fan of double-ended cutlery, which seem to be all the rage with my youth. My opinion is that if I'm eating some chili alongside a salad, I don't want to have to wipe off the soup end before flipping it around to use the fork end, and vice-versa.I also like the stand. It folds up for easy storage, and is big enough to provide a stable base for cooking.The burner puts out a ton of heat. I lit it for a picture, and it's only about halfway up. I didn't want to burn my house down, as I did this on my photography table in my office!The Bad:The mesh bag feels like it won't survive for very long. It's pretty cheaply made, and I will likely have to find a replacement at some point.The pot is too shallow to allow me to store the gas cylinder in it along with everything else. If I'd bought the smaller cylinder, I think it would have fit everything, but I prefer to have the large ones to make sure I have plenty of fuel. Nothing's worse than running out of gas on a trip.Overall, I really like this set. I'm going to be going camping in about three weeks, and am going to use it to do some testing. I can't wait! For the price, it includes everything you need for backpack or light footprint camping.

This is a pretty decent little starter pack for a DIY backpacking solo cook kit. I am excited that this kit can fit the larger gas canisters. That is annoyingly rare in many of these. The burner that comes with this is the right size for the pot and if you bring something bigger it should be just fine. However I would not recommend going too much smaller as you may not have any support under it if you do. It has folding silverware that does not feel super cheap so yea! The mesh carry bag is the only thing I didn't care for. If I hook this to my bag and hike for an hour I'm pretty sure that it's going to tear open. Something to think about. Otherwise I recommend this kit especially to those who don't have one yet. Hope this review helps!

Great set to take camping. They stow away neatly and don’t take up much room yet give you multiple cooking options.

This is an excellent fairly lightweight mess kit that everything packs together nice down to a fairly compact size and has a nice bag for storage overall very happy with it comes with everything you need overall great mess kit

- No country of origin but all the tags are in ChineseThe non-stick on these is extremely thin but as expected. It's almost silly to even bother with it for emergency/camp cookware anyway so I don't care. The "sponge" they provide, however, is just a scrubber and will shorten the life of it drastically.This has the best flatware I've seen yet. This style is common, and not my favorite, but the heads are the best quality I've seen. Nicely softened edges, good sizes, even the knife is good enough metal to take a sharpening (it's straight edge, not butter/serrated). The sliding locks are ick but eh.Pots themselves are great - standard for these sets but the handles are tons better. Whatever that red coating is, is thick and takes heat very well. It does still burn in direct flame but doesn't get deformed and dissipates the heat quickly. Very sturdy and comfortable to use.I like the sets with a kettle because a lot of our camp/prep foods are freeze dried but it's great to have the pots for anything fresh caught/picked as well.The ladle isn't as good quality, finish or metal, as the flatware but it's fine. Nice to have one in a set like this.Wooden spatula is fine - shorter than is truly useful but one makes due for portability and weight.The "cups"... the silicone ring makes them usable for hot stuff. They can't be stacked while it's on but I just stack them and put both on one for packing.
